Our office is located a 3 minute walk from Reading Station, the terminal for mainline trains and local buses.

We are 2.6 miles north of Junction 11 of the M4. Parking is available in the Garrard Street car park. Reading’s one way system can be difficult to negotiate. We would encourage you to travel by public transport if at all possible.

By rail or bus
Trains and local buses stop at Reading Station, which is a 3 minute walk from our office. Reading is on the mainline from London Paddington. (Non-stop trains take 25 minutes from Paddington.) There are good connections to many cities including Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.

Come through the ticket barriers into the main station concourse and take the exit to Reading Town Centre on your right.
Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing, bear slightly to your left and continue straight ahead into Station Road, which runs perpendicular to the train station.
At the first crossroads, turn right into Friar Street.
30-31 Friar Street is about 10 buildings along on the right-hand side of the street.
The Trust office is above the Nando's restaurant.
The building is entered from Merchant’s Place, the alley way just before the building.
Our offices are on the first floor overlooking Friar Street.

By car from the south
Parking is available in the Garrard Street car park which is a one minute walk from our office.

To get to Garrard Street car park, leave the M4 at junction 11.
Follow signs towards Reading for 2.5 miles (A33).
When you reach the junction with the A329, follow signs left towards Caversham.
Leave the A329 by the second slip road following signs to Station West and Garrard Street car park.
Take the third exit from the roundabout and enter the west end of Friar Street following signs to Garrard Street car park.
Friar Street has restricted vehicle access, so you must turn left down Greyfriars Road.
Turn first right on to Garrard Street.
The car park is on the left.
30-31 Friar Street is entered from Merchant’s Place which is the alley way directly opposite the Garrard Street car park entrance.
The Trust offices are on the first floor overlooking Friar Street.

To get to Garrard Street car park, follow the A4074 from Oxford or the A4155 from Henley into Caversham.
Cross the Caversham Bridge (A4155).
Follow the road across the first roundabout.
At the second roundabout, turn right onto the A329 following signs to Station West and Garrard Street car park.
Go under the railway bridge and turn left, following the sign for ‘Drop off West’ and Garrard Street car park.
At the traffic lights turn right into Greyfriars Road.
Take the first left into Garrard Street.
The car park is on the left.
